The S&W J frames are pretty popular for CC.  Very small so can be concealed easily in a variety of clothing, of course you give up accuracy past spitting distance because of the tiny grip and high recoil with .38+P or .357 ammo.    I'm actually looking for a good IWB holster to replace my DeSantis pancake holster.

I will sometimes carry a S&W 642 in my pocket for a quick trip to the corner store or during the summer when I am not wearing much more then shorts and a t-shirt.

I occasionally pocket my S&W 642 or my wife's 340PD.

Not outside yet however I do have a spurless Ruger SP101 .357 I picked up last year and it hides very nicely! Use a DeSantis holster at 4oclock and its great. I picked it up for I think 325.00 off gunbroker and most of the year they almost always had a few listed at that price. Last week I looked as saw them 500+. Super revolver and usually very affordable.

I also  carry my Ruger GP-100  .357 & occasionally my German 1944 P-38  9mm. The Luger is a real nice gun to shoot & I carry 1 or 2 extra magazines. Both fit in the shoulder holster & are comfortable to carry.
