Since we were talking about .22 Cal
« on: October 03, 2013, 02:33:33 PM »

I was just at Arundell Mills mall and visited Bass Pro Shop.  I saw an amazing 85% scale of a 1911 in .22 cal

It was Browning's 1911-22,  Has anyone fired or learned anything about this firearm?

Somewhere around $550 but that was the Bass Pro price.  Its gotta be lower than that.

Gunbroker.com has them from around $450 to $550.

If you like 1911 i would get one in the normal size as a possible .22 practice alternative if ammo gets back to normal ( like when its available and cheaper to shoot .22 than 45acp).

I have a colt 1911 .22. I think walther makes it though. its a really nice gun.

I have shot the browning as someone up at targetmaster wanted to try my colt 22 and I asked if i could try that. They liked mine better. its not a bad gun though
