Title: vote margins
Post by: Just Bill on May 18, 2013, 10:54:05 PM
I am noticing that vote margins for Markell's gun bills are getting awfully close.  Time to step up the pressure.  Write, call, holler, etc., as often as you can.  Try to avoid emotion, just use logic........yeah I know, we are talking to politicians...logic???

The end is near-sprint for the finish line.

The legislature is in recess until June 4th in order to "mark up" the next budget.

When they get back, there will be only 4 weeks until they adjourn for the year.
If we make it as hard as possible for them, they will run out of time & we will win.

In Delaware, bills can be carried over to the next year.
By then, we must have candidates in place to challenge them so that every brilliant move they make can be used as a campaign opportunity by
their challengers.

Now is the time to apply maximum pressure on our Reps and Senators in the legislature, and keep a close eye on what is happening. Do not allow them to sneak anti-guns bills through, during the last minute flurry.
