Agreed, continue talking and emailing your senator and Representative until July 1. They need to know that we are still concerned and wil not rest until the bills are defeated.

Good news in the News Urinal, today.  Agreed - we need to stay vigilant.  I remain most concerned about HB58, as it makes several of my favorite, self defense, firearms "illegal".

Do not let your guard down, it sounds as though the Democratic leadership knows they do not have the votes to pass HB 58, but want to try again later. Rather than having this bill defeated now, they will try to garner the votes for passage, and try again, probably next year.

More info: http://www.wboc.com/story/22577156/markell-two-of-five-gun-bills-likely-it-for-now

Also the high capacity magazine ban. That's what ticks me off the most. brilliant. But the delay makes me happy, for now.

The mag capacity ban is a serious issue for me as well.

They know they can effectively ban many guns by outlawing their magazines. If they pass HB 58, they know they can pass a semi-auto rifle ban.

This is correct. I have more than one firearm that would be outlawed if HB 58 passes.
