Title: Another new member
Post by: LostM on November 16, 2015, 10:40:13 PM
Greetings everyone!

Moving out of NJ and the #1 must is a pro2A state.  Originally going to FL, but Mrs doesn't want to move that far from family. DE is the closest state that offers all the benefits (minus weather),  that we were looking for in a new location; Offer on a new home submitted today.

Expect plenty of questions, thanks in advance :)

Welcome, @LostM.  First, patience is a virtue; the permit process moves slowly.  There is a lot of info already here; poking around is encouraged.  Overall, we're happy to provide advice.

Welcome to the forum. Just a thought, but Pa is a shall issue state. That might prove to be a better fit in regards to a pro 2A environment.

Pa is much easier you still do need references but they do not have to be in your county just people that are not family.

Consider Lancaster County PA., Easier to get permit and cheaper too.

Welcome and all the best to you and the family. DE is  becoming a very lefty state by the day. If you are considering a CCW permit do it ASAP because things could change. Congrats from getting out of the Peoples Republik of NJ. I did it 21 yrs ago and glad I am in Sussex Co. Again, welcome.

Delaware is a Liberal Progressive Democrat run state. Not sure you have bettered yourself. But, at least we can carry open and concealed (with permit) in Delaware.
