"Do No Gun Signs Have The Force of Law?"
"Yes"

oldgraygeek:
Modern movie theaters are dead-end deathtraps. People enter through one or two points at the front, and there are no exits in the back... to escape from a shooter, they would have to go toward him.
If "no gun" signs in Delaware had force of law, I'd never see a movie again.

Tandem:
News report this morning actually mentioned the potential to add metal detectors at theater entrances!

How do we change the conversation, when so few people are knowledgable about firearms and just want someone else to protect them?  It's an uphill battle that we have to fight, every day.  Take a friend to the range!

Lumspond:
I think modern theaters do have exits at both ends, as required by fire code. At least the ones I frequent: Regal People's plaza, Westown Middletown.
Folks who are against gun ownership (notice I didn't say democrats) just have a different mindset. Additional shootings just convince them they are correct that more "no guns" signs need to be hung. I'm happy I live in a state that offers CCDW. If that right is taken away, I will move (after retiring).

SturmRugerSR9:
Haven't been to a movie theater since about 1985 and have no intention of going. No gun zones are a death trap.
