New member with a queston
« on: June 13, 2013, 07:41:13 PM »
I'll be submitting my ccdw application on Monday to Sussex.  I have a similar post on the training section.

I need a training course in Sussex to complete my permit.  But I need a course that is given over several evenings or afternoons.  My wife is disabled and I need to care for her.  I can't leave her for more than 4 or 5 or so hours at a time.

Please let me know of any courses that might help me.

Thanks,

Mark

There are a number of folks that offer the class in Sussex County.  If you already know of some, call them...maybe they will be flexible with your schedule if you explain your situation.  Can't hurt to ask.

I'm sure others will be along shortly to let you know who offers the class.

The only down side is he's down state.  I thought about helping him out when I'm at camp (Galestown, Md).
That would cover my stay down there VS driving from NCC 2 or 3 times.

Thanks to all who responded to me.  I had some very good responses.

For my situation and  needs, I've decided to go with JD Defense in Georgetown.  He has a three evening course (6PM to 9PM) followed by a range day for the shooting requirement.  It fits what I need at this time.

Thanks to Radnor and Federal Firearm.

Mark

By the way; it seems I will have PLENTY of time to get the course in before permit approval (up to 4 months :o)!
