The DA in Philly says that she is not going to enforce the new gun laws because they are unconstitutional. Good for her.

Good for her, but it seems like were just reading the first pages of this story. Stay tuned...

I don't understand why the city council up there even passed that law, they've been complaining about the PA preemption laws for a year or so.
-
This isn't necessarily good. Either eliminate the law by challenging it or enforce it so someone can. The next DA could easily enforce it. It's still on the books to jail some innocent person who can't afford to challenge it.
My opinion is to overturn the law before it has a chance.

Is it me or did the NRA miss these new laws. This was never reported by NRA ILA
-
The NRA was all over it but they passed it anyway. Phill's city council started talking about making "assault weapons" illegal last year after the police officer was killed by the dirt bag with the SKS. I remember hearing the NRA was on them because of Pennsy's pre-emption laws and that anything the city passed would be unconstitional. Maybe the city figured they would try their luck anywayJust another uninforceable law that the crooks won't follow and the law abiding citizens will. Maybe it would help if they passed a law that says ciminals can't own guns, oh wait, nevermind!

I hojestly love Nutter. If he would understand the second amendment, I would support him for President.
That being said, he doesn't. Therefore, I cannot support him no matter what he runs for.
The second amendment is almost as important to me as abortion. I can't support someone who supports abortion and someone who doesn't support the second amendment. JMO
