Permit application complete and submitted! Now the wait begins.

Great. Your next step will be an email that it was accepted. Then you probably have about a 50 day wait.
Check Maryland Shooters Forum for updates.
Sure makes life easier down here. I’ve been Wearing and Carrying since August.

Too bad all of us newbie md wear and carry owners won't be able to go anywhere after the governor signs that dumb bill >:(
-
He says he will sign it. Takes effect in October. They did make some changes but still bad.
-
Yea I gotta read up on it. Last I read it sounded like anywhere you can find children, which is everywhere
-
A lot of my friends ask why I don't get MD license. I have NRA certs for instructors, FFL, DE CCDW, etc. I am headed to boy scout camp....children???!!! No other reason to go to MD.
-
It's so nice NOT having to disarm at the check point when going there.
-
Yeah, the only reason I plan to keep MD is to make traveling THROUGH MD a whole lot easier.
-
This bill NEEDS a Supreme Court challenge!!!
-
SCOTUS is built to support the 2A right now, but it takes soooooo long. It would probably be faster to just have the other 2 branches and get some better federal level work done like reciprocity
But all these post bruin laws are blatant and yes should be addressed fast. There definitely seems to be a big uptick in these "mass shootings" which is putting the wind at all the D's and rhinos backs with their rhetoric.

This is the bill as passed You will see that they struck a line through many of the areas that would have been banned. Read down to page 5 and 6 and see that stadiums, museums and probably the one that is the worst, PLACES WHERE ALCOHOL IS SERVED ( pretty much ANY restaurant) It also bans carry on private property not accessible to the public ( private homes) unless the owner or renter gives specific permission.
