maryland State Senator Steve Waugh (R-Calvert County) has introduced a bill to make it legal for residents of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia that have a valid Concealed Carry Permit from their state to carry in Maryland. Again the bill is Senate Bill 403.

Suggest members here send lots of letters and emails to Sen. Waugh and the co-sponsors of this bill encouraging their efforts.

Just emailed Senator Waugh, this would be awesome if it passed. I work in Elkton and spend a lot of time in Maryland.

It looks like the House version is HB0369

But will it make it easier for a citizen of Md to aquire a permit? Not so sure Marylanders would like out-of-staters ccing legally while they still cannot.

I just sent an e-mail thanking Steve Waugh for sponsoring this bill, I hope all members do the same.

There was also a House Bill HB 0369 also cross-filed with this SB 0403. The were filed on March 9th and 15. I have sent emails to all of the sponsors and co-sponsors of these bills and to the DSSA and NRA-ILA hoping for something positive to happen. I encourage you all to do the same.
