Just want to say hello to all. My name is Tim. I work for the State of Delaware. I'm an amateur radio operator. I like anything that fly's. Right now I'm working on getting a CCDW.  Looks like there's a really good bunch of people here on this forum.

To all the Service Men and Women,
Thank You for your service to our Country!

I've got a question and not sure that I'm in the right forum location..

I have  already had a background check to get TS clearance but it was probably about 1 and a half years  ago.  The  instructions given in one of the forum locations on this site says that you need to have fingerprints taken within a certain amount of time within filing.

Will I  need to get finger printed again even though I have clearance?  Should I ask the State Police or the agency that I file to?

Thanks for your help!

21, unfortunately, you'll need to get your fingerprints done again.  Your TS and your CCW are completely separate.

For more info, check under the DE CCW info section here on this site.  Also, don't be afraid to call your local prothonotary's office.  They are usually happy to help.

I just received notice that I am conditionally approved, pending proof that I have completed the course... I only have 30 days to show proof..

Please share your recommendations for places to take the course.

Thanks!

I wold recommend Marino Tactical if in Sussex County. I took my course there. Very through, practical, informative, and we had a great time with the range shooting too.
