Welcome to the board. A lot of good info here on many subjects relating to concealed carry.

Physically, concealed carry sounds fairly easy.  Realistically, there are so many questions and concerns.  This is a great forum to bounce your ideas around.  Welcome.

The first time I went out in public with my sidearm it really felt weird. You feel that weight in your back and you swear that everybody can see the print, even though you know they can't. It's humbling to realize the awesome responsibility that comes with the permit, but also comforting to know that I now have some control in the protection of my family. :)

del elec,

Welcome!

I just got my permit a week ago, and I know exactly how you feel. It is humbling and the responsibility is heavy!

welcome, from one Middletowner to another.  The first time I went out--you know women wear tight jeans and tops--I changed my top to a looser style but I still felt like everyone could see me carrying.  But, the more you do it, it becomes a natural part of you.  Take care!
