Lelam, there used to be a target range just inside Pa that had a quarry and shooting range. Nothing fancy and I think it was called Avondale rod and gun?
The quarry was a hoot as it had huge fish swimming around that had been well trained in lures v food. You could swim, picnic, and shoot. The range was single shot only but still worked well.
On a more serious note, there are several things you have to start thinking about. Number one is security. If you are bringing a gun into your home you want to make sure no one else has access to it, other than those who you want to have access. So home security, weapon security, and then training, ammo storage, cleaning station, and on and on. You will find tons of information on this site. And like every other site on the internet, most of it good, but some not so much. (my information is a good example as sometimes I am struck brilliant and should not be listened to. Just ask my wife!)
Have you thought about weaponry? There is a good chance several on this forum will have a suggestion or two, or three, or .......you know what I mean.
