I got myself a puppy not that long ago and have been wanting to take her to some parks. Glasgow park is ran by the county i believe so its ok to carry there?
-
Yes you are good to carry it is a county park I would not go to that park without my firearm. After all you are going concealed and who is going to know anyway unless feces hits the fan and you have to protect your life. I would much rather be judged by 12 than carried by six.

Luppies are not allowed in that park. Just kiddin'............ Have fun.
-
Thanks guys. The dog park area seems pretty nice but im probably not going to walk those trails or go anywhere out of the way
-
I carry when I go to the Glasgow dog park, but if you're looking for a good place for dogs, I recommend the Dog park in Middletown on Levels Rd off of Rt 301. 5 acres for the big dogs and 3 acres for the little dogs plus doggie drinking fountains. I carry there and I know I'm not the only one.
By the way, 301 north of Middletown is a mess.

Oh yeah i know the place. I went down there last year for "corgi day" lol. I live in newark so its a little out of my way but maybe i can time it with a trip to see chris

if you have a water dog try Carousel Park, real nice swimming area and its quiet large
-
Dogs are no longer allowed in the pond at Carousel.

Lumspond State Park also has a dog park. You enter the opposite end of Buck Jersey Road (eastern end). After you pass the homes, you make the left and park in a small lot. Then a short hike. Couple of picnic tables and the pond to swim in is all thats there.

My dog splashed around in a creek one time on her own for about 12 seconds and never went back

I recommend you don't go in the first water spot. The water can be a little unhealthy. I used to hose my dog down when we got home after swimming there. Go to the second or third entrance to the water.
I don't go there anymore now that I carry. It is a State Park.

Glasgow is a county park. Not a state park. County does not have authority to ban firearms.

Topper was referring to Lumspond State Park.
