3 months and counting in New Castle County

Almost hit the 5 month mark. Emailed a few contacts there yesterday to see the status and the expected wait time. Now just waiting on their response. Hoping I'll see it in the mail within the next few weeks. Have a feeling the tragic events in CO are going to spark a overflow of apps. Which can only mean a even longer turn around time. Glad i submitted mine when i did but 5 months? Come on NCC.

My PA permit took 3 weeks!

3 weeks?

Every PA permit we've obtained -- my initial permit in 2005, the renewal in 2010, and my wife's new permit in 2010 -- took one week, including mail both ways to and from Centre County. My first permit was mailed on Monday and arrived on Friday.

Of course, those days are gone now: no PA permits by mail. But, still, 3 weeks? Ouch...

Took me 4 weeks in Del county PA back in 2010. Never seemed bad to me, compared to DE....

Good news, after a few emails I recieved a call today stating that my application was signed by the judge, approved and should be in my hands in no more than 2 weeks! making it exactly 5 months. With the exception of the lengthy process, I couldn't be happier

TODAY IS A GREAT DAY!!!! My permit came in the mail today making it 5 months to the day exactly. Add one more for the good guys!

I just got my permit today!!  It took 5 months and 2 weeks, but it's finally here!  Now to work on my PA permit!!
