I know a great guy and he has DE CCW permit for probably five years. He is a part time carrier and that makes no sense to me. I carry 24/7 no matter where I am going or what I am doing. Carrying at times can get you in a bad situation. Can you imagine being in a life threatening situation and reaching for the weapon and it not there.

For me, it's like wearing a seat belt in the car.

I've driven over 2 million miles, and the seat belt has never been needed to protect me... but I buckle it every time.
