It may not hurt to remind them, but as long as brilliant people keep re-electing them, they will remain anti-gun.

Thank you, if the mods or admins removed personal opinions and locked this thread, this could be a good sticky.

As a former Registered Legislative Agent (lobbyist) in Delaware I can tell you that there are very few of our legislators on the state or federal level, that really listen to the public. They only listen to 2 things. Money and Power. Delaware in a monocracy (meaning run by one party only). Markell, Beau Biden, the top members of the state legislature and US House and Senate are all in the Obama/Biden camp and don't do anything that isn't approved by them. Their noses are right up their butts. Anything Obama/Biden wants, is Holy to our state politicos. Other state opting out of Obamacare, not us. Other states claiming states rights on issues, not us. I was in a meeting a couple of years ago and the Democrat leadership said that they weren't going to do ANYTHING that would embarrass Joe Biden or Obama. They are right up their butts. So it's safe to say they will go along wiht an proposed gun bans.
There is suppose to be meetings in Dover in Jan. open to public discussion including DNREC, Dept of transp., HHS, and another dept. on the 15, 16, 17, 18th, with no subject matter anounced. I'm bettin it's to discuss gun control. All the right people will be there.

The meeetings i was referring to was in Friday Dec.21 Delaware State News om page 44 in the classified section.
PUBLIC NOTICE
Review of Agency Regulations
Executive Order No.36
Jack A. Markell, Governor

Soliciting public imput (as reguired) to identify regulations adopted three years ago for modification or elimination.
the agencies listed are:
DNREC
Dept of Safety and Homeland Security
Dept. of State
DELDOT

The meetings are Jan. 7,8,9,10 in Sussex held at Central High School, at 6 PM
Kent County st Del State BOA building, Longwood auditorium, Jan. 14,15,16,17th, at 6 PM

I may be wrong or just (paranoid)reading too much into it, but I'm thinking, what do these agencies have in common interest? I',m thinking plans to change laws in Delaware on \firearms and ammo as all of these agencies are involved in gun regs. If any one has further info, please respond.

IMHO, contacting our Washington officials is a waste of time and effort.  I used to do it often, but either never got a reply, or the reply had nothing to do with my coments.  I do try to bend the ears of locals, but that is also fruitless.

I would add, there is one thing that gets their attention............voters at election time.  It worked on Mike Castle.  He thought he was a shoe in re-election, but that *#%& tea party screwed him.

Running as a Republican, and voting and acting as a Democrat, was his "Waterloo". Unfortunately,  uninformed voters (being nice), continue to re-elect the three morons, who currently, claim to represent us.

The problem in Delaware is that New Castle County elects all major politicians. New Castle County is a Liberal/Progressive Heaven and out-numbers the rest of the state. Castle was defeated by Christine O'Donnell because he was a "Rino" trying to get re-elected in a Republican Primary with a conservative majority, but when the election time came around the Liberal/Progressives had assinated O'Donnell by the power of the "Far Left Media". No change is it sight for Delaware. "It's the Delaware Way".  Delaware can't live on what it spends and has to depend on the Feds to supply them money through Socialist Programs. And most Delaware People are on the teat of the government. 1 in 10 Delawareans work for the government, to say nothing of the union dweebs.
