None of my "representatives" actually represent me, but I keep trying.  They won't support it.

Sent an email to Sen. Dave Lawson last night and received this reply this morning"

Good morning,

Thank you for your letter. I am very well aware of the problems Senate Bill 19 poses and I have been working to find a better approach. Last week I drafted an amendment to strike the majority of SB 19, as currently written. I plan to introduce this amendment on the Senate floor today and if my amendment is passed with SB 19, there will no longer be a gun buyback program. Through these changes law enforcement will be able to use the CFRP funds to recover stolen firearms by reimbursing any licensed legitimate business when a gun is recovered from a dealer. I am working with Senator Marshall get stop the destruction of these valuable firearms.

Thank you again,

Dave Lawson

Peterson voted no and I fell off my chair. I never get a response from these people when writing. They do answer their phone thank God. She listens without a confirming, then you hope she does the right thing. :-\
