I second Dave Johnson as well he's a nice guy as well as very knowledgeable plus his  class was only
About 8 hrs  long  plus we got a free cup of coffee and sandwich from dunkin donuts..
;)      also his price was really cheap.

Took mine from Dave Johnson. Used to work at X-ring, and now I hear is at the gunshop on Rte 2 (Patriot?). Nice guy, VERY knowledgeable about carry laws. Would recommend.

Dave Johnson (and his son) were very good. The price is right also. I also found him to be very accessible by phone and email to answer any questions. I highly recommend him.

I took a one on one class with Bill Walters owner of 302 tactical in New Castle. Excellant instruction and just a great person to listen to. At the end he made sure I had everything ready to go......including Florida and PA

After many replies to this topic, it seems that it depends on what county you are from. Not many people are going to trave from NCC to go to a class in Sussex County, or the reverse. So the fact remains, it seems, that the place we went to take our training and get our permit thinks the place we went is best. I haven't seen any negative comments by anyone that went to a training course and then bad mouthed them. Or am I wrong?

Anyone know off hand what Trin Tac's class costs?

I'm thinking either Trin Tac or going with Dave Johnson.

I agree 100%. I took my class there and it well presented and the range section had numerous scenarios to shoot.

I took Trin Tac's class, and it was $295. I liked it.
