Cassey Bennett - Student Activist - University of Louisiana

I heard this on Tom Gresham's podcast

Cassey Bennett is a student at University of Louisiana Monroe and she tried to get a Students for Concealed Carry Group together on campus and the  VP of Student affairs Dr. Wayne Brumfield gave her the run around about signing off on giving her permission to form the group. He wouldn't return calls, would not meet with her, etc. she was told that he would not act on her request either way and only when she testified in front of the State Legislature about the need for concealed carry on Campus did she suddenly get a summons to appear before the schools Judicial committee, when she said she was bringing a lawyer, the VP suddenly is refusing to attend. As of Sunday 5/24/09 she can not register for classes her account is on hold. I will keep everyone up to date on this. Anyone wanting more information on this can listen to the story on 5/24/09 podd cast.

Here is the VP's info
