I've been reading and even posting for a little while now and I figure its about time to do an intro. I'm a 26 year old commercial electrician, currently enrolled in a criminal justice program hoping to make into the ranks of the Delaware State Police in about 3 years time. I just filed my completed application in NCC Monday April 28 so hears to quick turn around times. I have heard a few people mention that they are getting back out faster now but I suppose I wont get my hopes up. Utah is probably not too far off in the future any one have any thoughts on who to take the class from? Other than that glad to be here thanks to everyone for the great information found here.
Cheers

If it some how took 2 1/2 years I wouldn't need it any way at that point.

IMO, sooner is better so that you can take your CC experience and relationships into the LEO world. From what I've heard most DE LEOs are pro-2A but NJ and MD are anti-CC. This presents you with the opportunity to enlighten both communities.

Additionally, you will find here at this forum that there are many responsible and level headed CCW permit holders in Delaware.
