Yet another newbie!

Hello,
 My name is Dan, I like long walks on a moon lit beach......oops wrong site?!  ;D

In all seriousness, my name really is Dan. I have been a lurker on this site for quite a few years, applied for my permit April 1st , assisted with plenty of knowledge from this site, and decided it was time to be a contributing member. I was surprised to see my class from years ago was still honored in the process considering I took it when I purchased my first handgun (~2007). Currently in my 28th year as a NCC resident, which I do not mind, hoping to become a homeowner here shortly. When I am not working I enjoy cars in all forms (judging by usernames there are other gear-heads here as well), motorcycles (I have a Shadow and a few sport bikes), hiking, camping and fishing. Looking forward to learning and growing with DECCW!

I thought the training certification had a shelf life but was apparently wrong. Maybe it was the fingerprinting I was thinking about.

Hello Dan, my first bike was a Shadow, then a Magna, then a Harly FXR.  Anyway welcome, tho I'm still a newbie myself, but I do like his site!

Ahh thank you all for the warm welcome! I will put my neck out at all the humor and cutting up possible, I absorb all the political stuff, however I tend to leave the serious stuff to the professionals and keep my opinion close. That being said I also appologize for typographical and grammatic errors in advance!
