When I heard that Uber (the ride-sharing app) was coming to the Delaware Beaches, I was excited and saw it as a way to make a little extra money on my days off from my regular job. Then I saw this article and immediately closed my account. Mind you, this comes after a driver in Chicago who has a concealed carry permit shot a man who opened fire on a group of pedestrians.

In 1791, when the 2nd Amendment was written, every gun was "Military Style".

My wife and I were looking forward to using Uber for our transportation needs, but then we read this:

We both have concealed carry permits, and we carry firearms. We do not patronize companies that don’t recognize our 2nd Amendment rights. In our home state of Delaware (and many other states), we could simply ignore the policy without violating the law… but we don’t want to support your company in any way.
