Points to consider if you want that DC permit:


* You will have to register your gun and it must be on the Maryland handgun registry. Nothing over 10 rounds.

* The city’s “gun-free zones” law places restrictions on carrying firearms within 1,000 feet of a school, college, day care center, playground, library, public housing complex and other public gathering spots.  Do you know 1000 feet from every school?  Drive through, get pulled over (must inform) and presto you are a felon doing time in the D.C. Prison system
