Well, I just got my letter from the NRA suggesting I renew my membership before July 23 to get a prize and low rate.
I suggest that the NRA use there digital search capabilities to save money by not sending notices to people that are already members for multiple years. They spend million$ telling people to "re-up" membership, when they are already members for years to come. I am good to 3/23 according to the membership card they sent me last year. I understand that the NRA is suffering financial hardships, according to news reports. So, why are they wasting more money in the printing and postage of notices to people that are already multiple year members. All they need to do is run a audit of their member numbers against the expiration date and save them selves big bucks. And, that money could go toward fighting for our gun-rights, which is why we join their membership to begin with.

I have noticed that, I just got one yesterday, despite having renewed for 2 years- the 'prize' being a lantern.....

I no longer get those, just solicitations for donations. I'm a lifer+.
