New guy from Central DE...retired LE...applying for CCW permit.  Considering a LEOSA permit but seems to be a pain in the @@@ depending on which agency you retire from.

Welcome to the forum. A DE CCDW allows at least one thing that LEOSA doesn't; carry in schools. 18 USC 922q2A-B requires a state issued license. There is plenty of help on this forum if you have questions re CCDW or other state non-resident licenses, e.g., PA.
On the other hand, LEOSA exempts you from the Peoples Republic restrictions in other neighboring states.

Welcome to the forum. I have both a Delaware CCDW and LEOSA. It may be a pain to get LEOSA but you do not have the issues associated with carrying in in Maryland, New Jersey, or other areas that do not recognize Delaware's permit.
