New member here from Wilmington, it's a pleasure to meet all of you!

Joined the long list of CCDW applicants on July 14th, hoping to receive my permit before 2016 8)

Think about some of the non gun issues if you have already decided on an Every Day Carry gun.

Belts, holsters and clothing. You will want to dress for carry. Decide on mode of carry: inside waist band, outside waste band etc.

Great tips, @Clarence, some good things to keep in mind. I already have my everyday carry weapon, but have yet to settle on a holster. An acquaintance of mine has her own holster company out of Virginia, so I'll probably be looking on her website first, but I have quite a bit of time to decide, so no rush at the moment. Cheers!

I really don't know what everyone is doing wrong! I received my license the very next day after I submitted the application. AND the judge called to apologize for the delay. Had a trooper hand deliver the license to my door with a coupon for IHOP. Somehow, they actually photo-shoped my passport photo to make me look like Bradly Cooper! The expiration is 2050! And instead of the old laminated card they gave me bronze one with the Bill of Rights hand inscribed on the back.

I just don't know what you all are doing wrong!

Got off of a night shift just now and went to the mailbox to find my license waiting for me ;D

I dropped off my application and materials to the prothonotary on 7/14/15 and my license was sent back to me on 10/14/15 (92 days).
