If you own a Smith and Wesson M and P Shield, go to this link for a safety alert about potential trigger problem.  Good luck, I checked mine and I am okay.

I have plans of buying one but never found one in my price range.  It's still on my list and at least now the kinks will be worked out.

I use the S&W Shield as my carry pistol and so far not any issues.
