Where to get finger printed? Only one place?
« on: March 01, 2011, 10:39:16 PM »
I've read the stickies and know the number to call for an appointment , but I was wondering if I could get finger printed at our local Univ Del police station instead because it would be faster. Is that possible?

I doubt it.  It must be done by the state police as far as I know.  When you call they can tell you the locations, days and times.

I was told I had to do it a troop 2 which is on rt 40 near 896.. You have an appt so its a quick painless thing. Its done with an electronic machine so maybe that why they want you to do it with the state

Troop 2 is one of the locations, SBI in Dover is another.  I believe there is another location for Sussex county (Trp 7 I think?)

And yes... no more black ink.  Just glass and a scanner.

Dover is walk-in. no appointment necessary. I was in and out in 15 minutes tops.
"... so my wife says, don't you have enough guns?" to which I reply, "My dear, there is no such thing as enough guns."
