I always thought that GGP - or at least Christiana Mall - took a neutral position when it came to firearms in the mall. I know that they previously removed signage prohibiting firearms. Well - today I noticed this new sticker on the doors by the Urban Outfitter entrance. I checked a few other entrances (including the food court) and those entrances did not have the sticker!

Thats funny since there is a Cabellas right outside the mall that sells guns.
-
The mall has long had a "Code of Conduct" that prohibited firearms (among other things) posted at the mall entrances. There was a thread about it up here somewhere, with photos.
We always enter through one of the anchor stores, where there are no such signs.

Dick's Sporting Goods also sells guns at the Dover Mall. The Dover mall is a "No Gun Zone". But, Dick's has a separate entrance you can go in without entering the mall. I spoke to one of the people in the Sporting Goods/Firearms dept., and asked about carrying concealed in the store. His reply was, "if a person is carrying concealed, then how would we know you are carrying?" 'nough said.

As far as I know these signs are not enforced by law unless the store asks you to leave. If you are concealed carry, and have not been asked to leave, you have nothing to worry about the signs.

As usual, OGG provides sage advice even if it interrupts our blissful ignorance. Leads to a new acronym "CMC". For my fellow gyrenes, no, it is not Commandant Marine Corps!

"No firearms or illegal weapons"

that is correct the signs carry no law backing them but if you are asked to leave and do not you can be charged with criminal trespass and that would mean the end of your conceal and carry days.

I don't go there but to me a store called "Urban Outfitters" would sell guns.

What sign? I never see signs that ban my right to self protection.
-
By the look of the sign the store only appears to ban 1911 style weapons.
-
Possibly it means no gun stickers.

Exactly. I carry concealed in the Mall all of the time.
