NCC Courthouse is a gun free zone. Proving again that laws don't mean anything to criminals.

How can this be? Isn't the courthouse a "Gun Free Zone"? I thought laws against guns were suppose to prevent this? What's up Markell?

How did the shooter even get in? In the Kent County Courthouse, the are guards and metal detectors blocking a shooter, from even entering.

edit.. leaving link http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/02/11/police-3-shot-at-delaware-courthouse/

And I *WAS* going to be there today with my family but instead decided to mail in our applications! My wife, my son or I could have been a victim here today of I hadn't woken up this morning with a headache!

So gun free zones WITH armed guards and police STILL isn't a safe place to be!

This is my whole argument about college campus carrying...People who follow the law by the state and have passed all requirements cant carry on college campus

Here is an interesting twist. This guy was on America's Most Wanted back in 2008.

Quote
Yesterday, "America's Most Wanted" featured David Matusiewicz during its "15 Seconds of Shame" Segment. Matusiewicz, 41, is wanted by p0lice in New Castle, Del. for kidnapping his three daughters, Laura, Leigh and Karen, then-5-, 4- and 2-years old, respectively, on Aug. 26, 2007.

Another example of the court system at it's worst, but the gun is at fault. I expect soon we will here he had a AR-15 under his jacket.  Never will read that the judges & lawyer failed once again.

It was his father who shot his ex-wife and wife's friend. Crazy must run in the family.

A local station reported "an explosion of gunfire" inside the courthouse.  Then I read today the suspect shot himself.  I say disarm the Capitol Police before someone gets hurt.

Thlax is right. The older man from Texas shot the son's wife and friend and guards. The guards returned fire, hitting the man twice, then he shot himself in the head. Game over.
