Title: County parks
Post by: Dweller on October 18, 2022, 04:58:19 PM
I know that the ban on cc in state parks was overturned but I have never seen anything that indicates if it permitted in county parks. Anyone have any info?  New Castle in particular.

Thanks.

As an old man that no longer cares, I carry where I feel I may be in danger, laws be damned.   I can't fight or run, but I refuse to be a victim.   They(DEMS) won't lock up murderers, why should an 80-year-old worry?  Not recommended for anyone else.

Under the state pre-emtion law, counties and municipalities do not have the authority to pass their own gun laws. Only the state may do so and the Supreme Court of Delaware has held that the state  may not ban firearms from parks or state forests.

I've read in the past about a few OCs that have carried at Glasgow Park without issue. Obviously that would go for CC as well
