Title: The waiting begins... in Newark

Filed at the Prothonotory last Monday and mailed in my FL application the week before - so now the waiting begins. They indicated "up to 6 months" when I dropped it off... so we shall see. Good to be among you fine folks!

Welcome aboard, @GDSever.  While you are waiting, read the DE laws and regulations, setup your carry rig, and practice carrying (I used a blue gun).  Get some live practice time at a local range, esp. with action scenarios.  If you are already doing the above, please just accept my welcome.

I am a platinum member up at Targetmaster and occasionally visit my friend's hunting lease for target practice - and I plan on taking some of the handgun combat courses from 302 Tac Ops in the near future... (once I've got the green light and purchase my carry pistol). Examples of / suggestions for action scenarios would be welcome...

Great resource - many thanks. Definitely helps supplement the drills the class instructor had us do.
