Which lawyers do you recommend to have on call if needed? Joe Hurley's name cones up often here but are there others that are good?

Hey guys im looking to add a criminal defense lawyer to my phone book JUST IN CASE... I'm just wondering on what the process is... Would I need to call these lawyers first to officially become a client of theirs... Or can I just call them if/when that critical moment happens?

It can't hurt to stop by the office, tell the staff that they come highly recommended, and ask for a business card.
