Title: Need some advice on renewal
Post by: fish0123 on March 21, 2015, 05:53:47 PM
I am preparing to submit my first CCW renewal for Sussex County. I was planning on just using the same "Reason for Application" section as my original application because my reasons haven't changed. Is this recommended or should I change things up and rephrase stuff? I have no clue if they care about things like this but I remember what a pain it was to get the permit to begin with so I figured I would be sure and ask yall here. If you have any tips for a first time renewal I would appreciate it!

I just had my DECCW renewed in Kent County and they said I didn't have to fill that in, as the form is used for first- time applications and renews. You might want to call the Sussex Prothonatary's Office, as that's who you will be filing with.

At the advice of our trainer, my wife and I attached a long paragraph of reasons to our initial applications.

For the renewals, we went with "Protection of self, family and property" and it worked fine every time. (I just got my 3rd renewal).
