I'm looking for a new or used Ruger SP101 in good condition. Any help?
Also, a list of quality gun dealers in southern DE would be helpful.
Any chance of starting a sticky for posting of gun dealers associated with DECC?

I use this guy his name is Alan very friendly and will orde anything you want if he does not have it I paid 100 bucks less for my Ruger SR9C then I would have anywhere else.

People seem to really like chris from federal firearms too
http://www.federalfirearm.com/
I believe that is the correct site

Chris has always been able to get me any thing ive ever asked for a prices better than anywhere else in town
-
I like Chris. His prices are usually better than other places, and even if the item is a bit more it still is worth the drive just to support him.
-
Thank you for the kind words...Mark i would be happy to assist you in your search for the 101...please pm or email me at federalfirearm@rocketmail.com or chris@firearmdirect.com...

Super nice revolver! I picked one up on gunbroker a couple years ago for just $300. Mine is the bobbed hammer which makes for a great coat pocket gun as there is nothing to catch. The stock grips are fine for .38 however for .357 order a Hogue grip and you like it better.
Another comment for Chris as well, though I see you mention southern Delaware.
Good luck!

Just need to give another plus to Chris. There is no reason to consider anyone else. Great guy, will get you anything you're looking for and always at a better price.

I found a new dealer in Bridgeville. He has been open only three mounths. He gave me the best price I could find both locally and on Gunbroker so I've ordered the 3" from him. His name is Jim Beatty and both he and his dad are former LEOs. Jim and his dad are fourth and fifth generation LEOs. Their credentials are very good. They offer training courses in home defense, reloading, rifle and pistol use and Delaware Concealed Carry course. The name of the shop is Firing Distance and they are located on Federalsburg Rd. in Bridgeville. They are not that far from the range in Bridgeville.
edit: Their address is 7503 Federalsburg Rd, Bridgeville, DE 19933. Their phone is 302-337-9877. Their website is www.firingdistance.com.

If you are in Sussex County especially the southern section check out Delmarva Law Enforcement Supply in Dagsboro.
Stewart the owner has always given my great prices and matches Internet prices plus he is very knowledgeable and super nice guy.

I second SG about Stewart, very passionate about firearms. I bought my XDm there, looking to go again in the next few months to get my "From me to me" Christmas present. (G19)

Hey MarkB.. How do you like the SP101?
I love mine and certainly one handgun I'd never sell! Mine has been dry fired 1000s of times while sitting back watching a movie in the office and 600-700 rounds through it. The trigger was always nice but it's buttery smooth now. ;D
I've thought about ordering another and sending the cylinder out to be machined to accept 9mm as well as it's standard .357, .38.

tried to find federal firearms using both Waze and google maps and both took us to the wrong place. What's it near, is there a sign out front?

You know there is not actually a store front. You have to contact Chris to go and look he works out of his home.
-
http://federalfirearm.com/ give him a call.
-
will do that the next time plan to be up that way.
-
It's worth the ride. Chris is a great guy and knows guns. He has a wide selection to see and hold. Also has gun accessories, ammo and the best prices. Very comfortable experience like no other gun shop. Feels like home.
-
almost went to his house, but didn't want to knock on every door asking if they knew where the gun shop was, lol
-
Front door and ring the bell. Like shopping from a really nice home.
-
Ding Dong, i'm here for the guns, lol
-
Text Chris at 302-300-0590. He will help you out.

Went to a store that had a range and shot my SD9VE. It shoots great. I asked the kid behind the counter if they had any one of the S&W E series 1911"s, He said he didn't think they made them. Which ensures my mind that i need to visit Federal Firearms.

Now that i've been to most of the gun stores in lower delaware, it's more worth it to take a trip to middletown to federal firearms
