Mine was a 1934 Polish VIS Radom, Nazi Proofed, 2nd model.

Like this one...

The Radom was a 9mm developed by John Browning. Browning offered it to the english who refused.  The Polish then bought the rights to make the gun. Its alot like a merger of a Browning Hi Power, and a 1911.

I would. Taurus seems to be in the "either you love or you hate 'em" category. I have had good luck with mine.  I've got a 3rd generation MilPro and I have put a couple of hundred rounds through it with no FTF or FTE's (I got my fingers crossed).  I know other people who have not been as lucky as I have with them. My second was a Glock 21, definitely a better gun, but too big for me to carry concealed.  I do not plan on stopping with just these two.

Brand loyalty plays as much a part as it does with cars. I've had a few Taurus guns and 2 of the 3 were great and the 3'rd I would say was picky. As long as I fed it right it did what I asked.
