Of course my ruger SR9. I never wanted anything else. Have no intention of buying a different pistol. I'm a "made in USA" Ruger guy.

The day I turned 21 I went and bought a Ruger 22/45.  Ended up selling it a few years later and I still regret it.

First one was a Smith & Wesson .22 2206 with rosewood grips. They dont make it anymore.  I sold it for more than I paid so I was happy.  Still happy I sold it.

Hmmm, having a hard time remembering that far back. Too many have passed through. I suppose it might have been a Ruger 22 or maybe......

As a courtesy, here's your memory jogger.  It was a new 1860 Colt 44 that you were issued. :). Same as mine.

The first gun I bought from a friend was a Star .45 modified 1911.

I still have a Star 9mm (largo) 1911. So far I have been able to get ammo but I don't know for how long.

My first handgun was a 38 special police issue revolver.  Still enjoy it as it is my only revolver that I own

Wow.... I almost hate to admit this but the first three handguns were purchased fairly close together 30 some years ago, like a month or so after I had my first real job. A .36 cal steel frame Colt Navy repro percussion followed by a 1927 Colt Police Positive in .38spl (which I still have and actually love to shoot on occasion - great trigger). Then came the the little Spanish made .22 rim-fire semi-auto which I didn't like and sold. I'm left handed and it tended to spit the spent brass right back at my forehead so, it went to someone else. Since then it has been a odd collection of mostly revolvers in both single and double action and couple of 9mm semi-autos. I've never really had the money to spend on the exotic high end semi-autos or the big calibers but I get to shoot them from time to time by way of friends. They're certainly fun to shoot but I still like my wheel guns. Yes, I know, I'm stuck in the past with ancient technology.

I just received a email from my son in Wisconsin. He purchased a Walther PK 380 yesterday. Anybody have any experience with that gun. Comments?
