When you list a ref, Make sure that the SOB will return the AG office phone call. I rec'd a call from a irritated person at the AG office that suggested that I select a more "responsible person" for a reference.

Wow, never heard of a reference contacted.  Sounds like the AG has a bug up their @@@!  I don't always get my messages right away.

They actually called a reference? Very different. Most have said that their references were never called. I put my application in back in January and have not heard anything yet but so far none of my references report being contacted either. I don't really expect to see a permit until late May or early June at the earliest.

The AG said that my application was approved but the non return call was holding me up. I think the reason that the ref was called is besause he is 22 yo???? Have known him all his life.
