My opinion is that we give California to the gun control advocates. This way we can have a real life discussion on how gun control works better for criminals. Seriously, I am not saying because it's CA but because it's a real issue. Give them CA and in five years when crime is so out of control (more than it is now) we can revamp these bullshit laws. It is absolute bullshit that we vote these assholes in office just because we are Democrats. If you are a Democrat and vote down party lines, you're an genius. Same with Republicans. Vote your freaking issues and not your party!

They have some of the worst gun laws on the books. I don't think the problme is us voting down party lines, its the politican voting down party lines. These politicans are essentially blackmailed by their party to vote how the party wants or risk losing party funding. This country needs to get rid of the politcal parties and let the politicians think for themselves.
