kent county....hasnt cashed check!

Turned in all paperwork along with the required class certificate a little over 3 weeks ago. I called two weeks ago to make sure they recieved everything because my check wasnt cleared and she said they did recieve it and sometimes it take a while for accounting to get things done...two weeks later and  still nothing. Does it usually take them this long or is something possibly wrong? I really dont want to call them again knowing it could dampen my application process.

Took me 8 weeks a little earlier this year, to get mine, and I thought that was pretty fast. Good things are worth waiting for.

Wow...8 weeks just to cash your check.How long did it take to get your permit?

No, 8 weeks from the time I filed application, until I had permit in mail. In Kent County. I paid cash with my application. Got receipt.

Well thats why im worried....i know they recieved my app but still havent cashed my check. Thats why i was asking if it was normal.

Well i checked my account this morning to see that my check was finally cashed after almost 30 days...better late then never i guess. Hope its not a sign for whats to come. Crossing my fingers!
