Been browsing around this site for a bit and it seemed only right that I introduce myself before peppering you with a bunch of questions. 
I'm in my fifties, happily married with three grown kids and my first grandchild scheduled to arrive in about a month. Mrs Sinker and I live in NW NCCo.
I grew up around guns and have been casually shooting handguns for several years. I just completed my CCDW class and am starting the application process; Mrs Sinker took her class a few weeks earlier so is a little bit ahead of me in the process.

Welcome Sinker!  My granddaughter made her entrance 18 months ago.  Our lives have improved tremendously as a result.  And it reminds me to be even more selective about personal protection.

Welcome Sinker.  You are at the right place.  Glad to see another husband and wife team.  Mrs "Clarence" and I have been licensed since 2013.

Welcome @Sinker.  You are good company here: multiple old codgers. Feel free to pepper away for any topic not found browsing or where the previous responses are unclear.  Often a question will illuminate a misconception, so don't be hesitant.
