In the beginning stages of my permit. Looking to get caught up on everything I need to know. Thanks!

There are quite a few of us here that are Veterans including myself. We all got through the system just fine without any letter from the VA. Welcome to the group brother!!!
-
Thank you very much!! Looking forward to going through the process successfully!

Welcome!

Oorah, Rob! (Taking a guess) Welcome to a grunt from an airdale.
-
Welcome!
You can get your references now. (I'd fill out the top portion [YOUR name/addr] and make 6 copies
if no one screws up, you'll have 2 extra copies - only need 5)
What zip code do you live in? (determines what paper for the ad) - run the ad
Get in a class. Our next one is 8/21.
If you should have any other question, please feel free to ask or PM.
-
Welcome! Lots of great information here and the people are awesome.

Thank you! I actually live in Magnolia (19962). I certainly have enough references. Looking to possibly get in a course within the next 2 months.

Welcome Rob,
I live not too far from you and took my NRA CCDW course at Marino Tactical Solutions http://www.usacarry.com/directory/marino-tactical-solutions-2154.html . If you go south on Rt 113 tru Milford to Lincoln, it is the first road to the right past the auction house. Clendaniel road. Go to the end, white and blue house on the right. Kirk Marino is a great instructor. Get your training in one day as oppose to multiple trips and a big expense. Kirk is a police officer and an US Army Reserve soldier. Hi partner Barry Peterman is also very qualified.
Good luck.
