Yep, I read somewhere it was 10 BUT the rules in the section say 25.

A friend told me today that a friend of his just passed 4 months wait for Sussex!!

My wait in Sussex county was 6 weeks 2 days.

OK, now the wait begins!  I filed my application today with Sussex County.  I was told that the current wait is 2 1/2 to 3 months for the permit to arrive.  As a side note, she also said I should get my training affidavit to her as soon as possible before the permit is approved.  If I were to wait until the permit was approved and then supply my training affidavit it might add further delay.

I personally waited until I was approved before taking the class.  
I received a letter stating I was approved and had 90 days from
the date of the letter to turn in the certificate or I would be automatically denied.

Did it add to the time, I think so.  Because now they were waiting for me to turn it in.

       My permit took 12 weeks to the day and I had prior training. I think it really depends on the investigator you get. I personally would get the training as soon as possible, even if they deny you, that is useful training to have.

Trapper is correct. Get your CCDW training done now. You can then start practicing so you will be red when your permit arrives.
