Title: What's my rig for CCW?
Post by: VintageZodiacs on July 21, 2013, 02:42:17 PM
OK, NOT advertising, just sharing here as a newbie will go through a lot of holsters before finding the one right FOR THEM. I have a lot of different rigs but this on the one I use for a Sig TT Ultra .45 and a Colt 1991 Compact carry.

I do not care for holsters. I especially detest IWB holsters, I just cannot get comfortable with them and am always hitching my pants up and moving it around. All my Kel-Tecs have the factory belt clip on them and then I found the Clipdraws for my other autos and revolvers. I prefer a Mexican Carry for a few hours and the clips help facilitate this, but for an all day long outing I use the shown holster.

This is a very sturdy 1.5" belt I found that cost me $30 instead of $75-$100 for a "holster belt". <heavy sigh> The holster was a custom order from Winthrop with the snaps on it as opposed to the belt through the holster version, but they charged me the same $55 for it. It is for a 3.5" 1911 if you talk to them.
