Has anyone gotten their renewal back yet? I turned mine in on January 6th and have not heard anything.
-
You might want to call the Prothonatary'd office and check, but your old permit is good during the time it take to get it complete.
-
I turned in my renewal on Jan 4 at Sussex County but nothing yet.
-
One person posted that he got his renewal back already in NCC:

Keep in mind that the current permits expire on May 31, 2016. Lots of time.
-
I just hate to wait.... :o
-
So NCC take 2x long usually, but they won the renewal race that didn't matter until May...
Guess it's a little better than nothing

Remember that under state law, if you have applied, your current license remains valid unless revoked. Even past May 31.

Updated...I just called to check on the status of Kent County renewals and was told she had not seen any come back yet :(
-
I am still waiting also. I turned it in on 1/4/16. In Kent county

I know people have a tendency to get antsy, but if you have a valid permit, you are covered even if the renewal doesn't get to you by May 31st.
Chill out. A watched pot never boils.

A unwatched pot boils away!

Seems as if NCC sped up, and Kent and Sussex slowed down. Maybe some resources were moved? Don't know. Something changed.
-
quick update, I spoke with the Kent County office and was told they received the first batch of about 45 permits from Jan 4. If you are in that batch you should see your permit shortly.
-
Received a letter from Sussex County today but it was just my sewer bill. Still waiting.

I believe that they are prioritizing the many new permit apps., trying to keep up with them. The renewals will be processed as a second priority since they don't expire until end of May, and even then if you have your renewal submitted your permit is still good in Delaware.
