Got it!

My husband & I received our permits yesterday.   ;D  Took about a month and a half in Kent County.  Although I have been shooting forever, I have never CCDW before...gonna take some getting used to!

Yes, I would imagine it is.  Not going to be wierd at all for my husband (he was an MP in the Army) , but will be very strange for me!   Going to take some getting used to.

A word of advice from someone who has no business giving advice:  Try to avoid purchasing a box full of holsters.  They are expensive and they make lousy anniversary gifts.  There is plenty of information within the pages of this forum to make good decisions up front.  But do expect to have and use more than one holster.

Suggest you wear your gun all day, everyday. especially around the house. You will get so use to having it, you will feel strange without it. It's all a matter of conditioning your mindset.

Congrats',  not sure what you'll be carrying but be sure it's comfortable and like sturm said you 'll want a comfortable holster. It may take a while for the holster to soften up and be comfortable.

I got my permit just yesterday...

I agree that it will seem unusual at first....  I haven't even started looking for carry gun or holster...

Make sure you get Ammo to go with it. Its harder these days to get Ammo then a Handgun itself ???  ::)
