Dont know about Saturday service.  Did mine during the week.

You'll need a copy of both your drivers license and DE CCDW.

Berks, Bucks, and Lancaster counties are 20 minutes and done.

Delaware county (Media courthouse) takes two trips, and a bit of a wait.

Looks like they want proof that you have family business or property in the county.  They also want to speak on your references as well as your employer.

Check the York application instructions. Lancaster doesn't mention either on their app.

I would say Lancaster definitely. I have also heard that Berks (Reading) is excellent.
No direct knowledge of Bucks but it would be a lot of traffic from Delaware up to Doylestown.

Chester County (West Chester) does not issue non resident and Delaware County (Media) makes you wait.

Happen to have a link in order to download / print the app out so I can fill it out early?  And all you need is DE DL and DE CCDW (and the moolah of course)?  No finger prints, ad in paper, etc like DE?

Thanks....

Need to fill out the License to Carry Instructions (http://License to Carry Instructions) also.

This form is not legally required.  The app can only be one page.

Please explain "not legally required". The context of my reply was the Lancaster process.  In the box toward the bottom of the Lancaster Sheriff's page http://lancasterpasheriff.org/sheriffs/cwp/view.asp?a=3&q=620126&sheriffsNav= (http://lancasterpasheriff.org/sheriffs/cwp/view.asp?a=3&q=620126&sheriffsNav=), it says "(Must fill out both)" referring to the PA License To Carry Form and the License To Carry Instructions.  His show-his rules. York sheriff requires a double-sided app not on two sheets. Sheriff Reese doesn't appear to ask for double-sided but @mrjam2jab's assertion is undoubted correct.  I'll print out my form two-sided - good advice, thanks.

His show-his rules.

Not the way it should be.  They should be following the rules as passed.

The link I gave above in #17 is both sides of the application.  When printing, these should be on one piece of paper.  For the Lancaster Sheriff to "require" a 2nd page in ADDITION to the application is not legal.
