Crazy. No legitimate owner of such firearms would dispose of them in this manner. They can be sold to a gun shop. I hope that owners of stolen weapons that are disposed of in this manner will get them back quickly.

What a joke. Well its about time I got that BMG 50 off my hands. I wonder if I can get $100 for it.

If you know anybody thats going to turn in there firearms let me know. I would gladly pay more for them.

I don't know what the DemoRATS are smoking but it is definitely poor quality stuff. We just have to vote them out in Nov. IMHO they are the biggest threat to our way of life at this time. I just hope BLARNEY & CLOWNsend and the rest of their ilk don't pull any BS in Leg Hall. Regards to all at DECCW.

The democrats will do anything to get our guns. They have gone gun crazy and care more about illegal aliens than American citizens. They must be smoking something as all they currently can speak about is outlawing assault weapons and about how this country is turning into Nazi Germany because we supposedly separate illegal alien children from their families. I think the way they are going they are doing a very good job of destroying our country. Its funny they didn't care if children were separated from their families when Obozo was president.

SB 253 (https://legis.delaware.gov/json/BillDetail/GeneratePdfDocument?legislationId=26932&legislationTypeId=1&docTypeId=2&legislationName=SB253) is 3rd on Jun 30 Senate Agenda.
It lists the "assault weapons" to be bought back. Has this odd paragragh at the end:
§10504. Immunity.
Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, an individual participating in the Program is immune from criminal prosecution under this section if the person is, in good faith, on an immediate direct route to relinquish an assault weapon under this subsection.
Looks like they are anticipating SB 163.
As of 6:55 pm, the Senate Agenda status has passed by SB 253 with no "thumbs up" icon.
-
No sign of 375 in the House.

I really hate that term. They can't 'buy back' that which they've never owned. My dad took a rusty old single barrel shotgun there and had to get a rain check for a gift card to I forget where for the last buy back. It really is more of a cash for clunkers program. oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Died in Committee- good. It would have codified a definition of “assault weapon” in Delaware. It will likely return in January.
