Range Report - Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro

I don’t know if this is important to anyone, but I thought I would share my recent experience with this gun.

Here is a list of what I fired:
200 rounds…Winchester 115 gr. FMJ
50 rounds…American Eagle 124 gr. FMJ
25 rounds…Federal Premium Law Enforcement Hydra-Shok JHP

A total of 275 rounds, not one failure.  The gun performed flawlessly.  The accuracy of the user, however, is another story…still need LOTS of practice.

Sounds like you had a problem free time. That is a good thing.

I have the pro 145. Only 200 rounds thru it. No problems so far. Good gun for the price

I am still new to this gun stuff, so my input may be off the mark.

Apparently, Taurus had a very bad quality problem when they first came on the scene.  Now, many years later, their reputation seems to have improved.  I don't hear about large numbers of problems with the Taurus guns in general, and I suppose every manufacturer has problems pop-up once in a while.

The biggest complaints I'm hearing now, about Taurus, is their customer service.  They are incredibly slow, so it takes a long time to get your gun or parts back after servicing.  Also, when you call their customer service, they don't seem to know, or care, about what you are talking about.  They sometimes give answers that you find out later to be false.

Personally, I haven't had any dealings with their customer service.  I'm just relaying what I'm hearing from others.

I have their 9mm PT111 in Titanium and their .22lr Tracker.  Not a single problem with either gun.  So, no complaints here.

Talk about poor customer service Para USA is the worst. I sent 2 magazines back to them on March 3, after about 6 weeks I called them and was told they were on back order. So time goes on and I would call like every other week and was told the same thing they are still on back order and finally two weeks ago I sent a really nasty email about how can they still be on back order when they are still shipping guns and low and behold 3 days latter two replacement magazines show up with no apology.
